Wondered how many SQPN gamers there are, especially those with an xbox 360 or PS3 online?
Maybe we could post gamer tags and set up an SQPN gamers "clan"

I'm not on Xbox Live yet. I have two people who befriended me, but the problem is, when I'm watching a movie on my Xbox, everytime one of them signs in, I get an annoying message and sound effect to notify their online presence. That is what is keeping me from adding more players as friends. Is there a way to turn that off?

Is Wii too far off the radar to rate as gaming? We're Mario Kart people, and are hoping to be online soon, so if anyone wants to race...and when I get my &*%$%#$# router to behave, we'd like to find other Kart-ers.

MemberI'm pretty sure there was a setting to turn it off while watching media on your 360, not sure about during games though.
That said I haven't owned a 360 for over a year now so my memory of the settings plane is a little rusty now.

Wii is not off my radar! My wife loves Mario Kart Wii... in fact I would say that the online aspect of Mario Kart probably makes it one of the best games on the Wii (IMHO).

Finally figured out how to turn off the notifications of friends coming online while I'm watching a movie.. it was in the personal settings you get when you click the central green Xbox button.

Hey Fuuma, I'm also a steam gamer. Used to do a lot of counterstrike but I can't find any good servers anymore so I stick to Team Fortress 2 (but haven't played that in a while).
My ID is Liraco. No 360 or PS3 (not yet anyway).
I just might get Mario Kart Wii this Christmas and post the codes here to get other fellow Karters.

Hey Father, been listening to your DBR podcast for a month, and love what I hear. No better justification for my love for tech, movies and gaming than hearing about a good holy priest that does same.
